Today (29 May 2025), Mr. Witthayakorn Maneenet, Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce, revealed that the department is preparing to propose to the National Rice Policy and Administration Committee (NRAC), chaired by Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, soon to consider measures to take care of wet season paddy rice in the 2025/26 production season, whose products are expected to be released to the market from September 2025 onwards.
